MME Multiurethanes’ technical team worked with a consulting engineering company to decommission two large, buried tanks located on the Guindon North Dam at the Vale Tailings site in Sudbury, Ontario.
The designed grout mix for filling the tanks was a slag-cement-bentonite mixed in a batching plant set up on site. Our grouting specialists provided technical leadership to deliver 75 cubic meters of bentonite slurry preparation and successfully complete the decommissioning work.
